Quick Consults — sub-$50, answered in minutes
Some questions only need a verified yes/no or a one-line expert call — not a full report. Quick Consults will let an Expert Solver answer for a few $ in a minute or two, and you pick the deliverable: a verified check, or a check plus a short "why" and a source. Funded from a prepaid balance so the small price isn't eaten by card fees.
Best for: a fast verified answer when you don't need a full bounty. For experts: your speed is your margin.

Who can claim bounties

Solver tier required.

Bounty claims are restricted to verified Expert Solvers with 200+ STAR-IQ in the relevant vertical. This protects askers from unqualified answers.

Unclaimed awards expire. A cash bounty is an award you actively claim, not a balance we hold. If an awarded bounty is left unclaimed for 90 days, it expires back into the community reward pool that funds future Expert Solvers. Your STAR-IQ, badges, and tier status are permanent and never require verification.

What happens if I'm not satisfied with the answer?
You have 72 hours after receiving an answer to approve or dispute it. If you dispute, the case goes to a panel of Senior Solvers in the relevant vertical for review. If they agree the answer was inadequate, a refund is processed. If they side with the Expert Solver, the funds are released.
How are funds held?
For Phase 1, bounty funds ($50+) are held by Trustap — a US-based transaction escrow service. Trustap holds the funds; ReallySolved is not the escrow agent. Funds are released to the Expert Solver on your approval or after the auto-release window. This structure means ReallySolved never holds your funds.
What's the minimum bounty — and why $50?
$50 is the Phase-1 minimum for a full, considered bounty, and the floor is deliberate. It (1) keeps Expert Solvers positioned as consultants, not microtask labor; (2) separates a citable expert verdict from a cheap quick answer; (3) covers the fixed escrow and processing costs that would eat a tiny one-off; (4) keeps payouts above the point where the one-time tax/identity check at withdrawal is worth it; and (5) limits the liability that attaches to each published verdict. Can I post bounties anonymously?
Yes. Askers can post under a pseudonym. Your payment method is required for fund collection but is not publicly displayed.
When does pooled bounty launch?
Phase 3. Pooled bounties require a multi-contributor fund architecture (Stripe Connect + legal confirmation of the agent-of-payee structure under California money transmission law). We're building this correctly before launching it. In the meantime, single-asker bounties are available at $50+.
